The project tackles migration and its effect on our world not just in the present but mainly in the past. In this way, we attempt to normalize the idea of migration, which has been demonised more and more in the past few years, by recognizing that this process has been present since the very beginnings of human history.

Our main goals are to analyze the reasons behind migration, the ways and hardships of the integration of foreigners into a life in a different country and the attitude of natives towards them. Besides all of these, we also focus on numerous other issues, such as extremism towards racial, religious and sexual minorities and the rising rate of extremist activity in the partner countries.

We believe that by including conversations about these topics in our education we can prevent extremist groups from gaining influence. It is important to us that the stories of people who have lived through difficult days or turned to migration as a way of an escape from conflicts aren’t lost to time and that they can provide a learning opportunity for many generations to come. Alongside this, we are will be working on developing our critical thinking, autonomous learning and empathy as well as strengthening our linguistic and communicative skills.
